  1. Create an image that accurately reflects you – and your company.
  2. Have your web site search engine optimized! A web site does you no good if no one can find it.
  3. Content is king! Make your site interesting with lots of free information that of offers value to your visitors.
  4. Personalize it – your visitors want to know your personal story as well as the history of your firm. Information creates trust.
  5. Use lots of pictures. Your sight needs to be visually stimulating with graphics that reflect your personality is well as your industry.
  6. Make sure that the graphics are of a professional caliber. Everything on you site reflects back on you. If the graphics look amateurish, it will reflect on your level of competence.
  7. Create a site that is easy to navigate.
  8. Have your copy written by a professional. Words create images that excite the senses.
  9. Make it easy for your potential customer to contact you. Many sites fail to provide contact information such as address, phone number and email address.
  10. Take your website to your customer. Don’t wait for him to come to you. Send an interesting newsletter that reminds him of your expertise.

After obtaining a degree in communications from St. Petersburg College, FL he joined the staff of The Daily Register newspaper in Red Bank, NJ as both a writer and advertising account executive. After two years of intense sales and journalism experience he segued to a career in his family's business - hospitality management.

Bob enjoyed years of success operating luxury hotels and restaurants by focusing on marketing and sales. His hands-on approach included personally developing marketing plans, press releases, print advertising, brochures, radio copy and much more for the hotels and restaurants he supervised. He frequently served as radio pitchman as well.

Bob has won numerous regional and national awards and has produced campaigns that resulted in attention from national media outlets including the NBC Today Show, CNN News, USA Today, New York Times and Washington Post. He has also conducted personal sales calls throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

In 1998 he opened his own wine boutique and bistro in Dublin, OH, the first of its kind. He initiated a monthly electronic newsletter, the first weekly retail electronic communiqué in the wine industry. That publication became enormously popular read and shared throughout the community. As a result he has been invited to serve as scribe for local newspapers and magazines and is currently a weekly columnist for the This Week News website.

Bob has owned small business and each and every one of them financially successful. Besides acumen Bob brings rich layers of creativity and a profound level of intuitive inventiveness to the workplace. In 2004 the Dublin Chamber of Commerce scouthonored him their Business Person of the Year.
